Something Went Wrong

Hi,

 

I published a report that i am able to see when i view it on powerbi.com

However when shared with a user they get the following "Something went Wrong, unable to load the model" error

I deleted the report out of powerbi.com and realoded it afetr renaming it, but have the same error

For anyone that has this issue, the solution was that role based security/filtering was applied to the report, we added the user to the security role for ALL in powerBI.com and that problem went away (Essentially the user had all the data filtered out, and that is the error when zero data is available for the report

Did you try reassigning the access to the report or give them access to the underlying data and see if it works?

Did the user try accessing the report from different browsers or clear the browser cache and try?

Check if the user is able to access any other shared report?
