Hi,
I have shared a workspace from my organization with a user in a different organization as well as the report.
We both have Pro licences.
I have added the user in AAD as Guest External User and enabled allow manage with external users in power bi.
The external user is able to access the report with a link but does not see or can manage the workspace.
Why is this? Any help?
@jdlayton Unfortunately I haven't found a way around this issue. Comes up all the time in the consulting world. For example, your external user won't be able to publish to your workspace from Power BI because they won't see your tenant/workspace when logged on as themselves, they will only see their tenant/workspace. Only solution I have found is to get an account in the customer's tenant and assign it a Power BI Pro license.
Thanks Greg!
This is very confusing and has no sense at all.
I've been troubleshooting this a lot of time. Happy I can share reports with external users but according to whitepapers and docs they whoud be able to see my workspace with just a PRO licence.
Community!, any help provided is gold
Hi, @jdlayton
The link you provide is only for access to a certain report.
If you want external users to be able to access the workspace, you need to give users access to workspaces in Power BI.
Please refer to the below tutorial for more details.

Thanks for your suggestion, however, reading the supplied article, tt doesn't mention anything about the guests being able to see the shared workspace.
The requirement is that our guest are able to see the shared workpace as it was their own. Just like this:
Is that possible?
