Greetings,
Due to when our enterprise data warehouse is refreshed, we have a need to schedule our on-prem datasets to be refreshed M-F at 6am while on Saturday, we need to set it for a later time. Currently, we just added the secondary time to run but this sets up the datasets to refresh twice a day M-F.
Is MS considering expanding the options for the scheduler so that we can set up different times on different days to refresh the datasets?
This is very important as we don't want to get in a bind using the Pro license and the number of refreshes per day which if I recall, this is at most 8 times with a Pro license(?).
Thanks!

Hi @ldnewlin
Whilst this is a great idea that is currently not possible, what I would suggest as a current work around is to use the Power BI Refresh API and set this to run on the Saturday.
I would suggest looking at the following link below
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-data-refresh-apis-in-the-power-bi-service/
As well as if you want a fully functional PowerShell script you can get it from Chuck Sterling @Microsoft below
I too facing similar issue, and expecting this option soon

@ldnewlin It is a great idea, and much needed in my opinion. I would recommend adding to one of the similiar ideas or start your own and post which one you voted up here so others can jump on the same idea to push it forward.
