Scheduled Refresh option Greyed Out for premium user

Hi everyone,

A few days ago I'm having an issue with the Scheduled Refresh option greyed out. My company has premium acess in Power BI Online. I checked and tried the solutions in this link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/refresh-troubleshooting-refresh-scenarios , but I got no sucess. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Image is in portuguese. "Atualização agendada" translates as "Scheduled refresh"

Hi everyone,

I found the solution to this problem. Actually I believe that is a bug in Power BI Online platform. For all the issues in replies above I am in conformity with them. So by chance I discovered that opening the option "Gateway connection" in Datasets page the "Scheduled Refresh" option turns active again. This seems like a bug as I said because apparently opening the "Gateway Connection" the gateway turns "active" on the platform. But this is weird as I am able to refresh the report by pressing the manual refresh button.

Hi  @faustomfc ,

The dataset owner or a workspace admin (taking control of the dataset) can edit the credentials for the source.

You can go to Dataset configurations -- Data Source Credentials -- then edit credentials.

Hi,
only the person who published the report can set the scheduled refresh. If you scroll up, you should see something like this:

Once you take over the dataset, you need to set up gateway before you can turn on the schedule refresh.

Hope this helps!

Do you have a on Geteway connection set up? Probably you report is gathering data from sources "On-premises" so you cannot schedule a refresh as the power bi services does not have permission to access to the data.
