Report Subscription - Custom name for sender in place of Microsoft Power BI

Hello All,

We have implemented report subscriptions from multiple reports. All the emails comes from Microsoft Power BI <no-reply-powerbi@microsoft.com>. We have a requirement to change the sender name from Microsoft Power BI to "Global Procurement Group" <gpg_it@mydata123.com>.

Is there any possibility to achieve it. If yes, how we can achieve it.

Thanks,
PBI V2

Hi, @PBI_V2

Depending on your organization's email server or service (for example, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365), you can set up forwarding rules. These rules can automatically forward the subscription email from Power BI to the desired recipients, but appear to be from the Global Procurement Group gpg_it@mydata123.com. Note that this method may require the help of your IT department.

Use Power Automate to trigger when a Power BI subscription email is received in your mailbox, and then send a custom email from the Global Sourcing Group gpg_it@mydata123.com to the intended recipients. This method also allows for more customization of the email content. You can check the following link:
