Hi, I get the following error message when configuring, on a Windows Server 2022, an enterprise/standard gateway:
"Installation failed: Your organization has restrictions on who can install on-premises data gateways.Contact your service administrator or tenant administrator."
Interestingly, months ago I did manage to register the gateway. Then I uninstalled it and when I tried to install it again a few weeks ago, this error occurs.
What other causes, besides the one indicated in the message, can produce this? How can I find out who my tenant manager is?
Thanks.
Best regards.

Thank you for your reply. We tested to rule out that it was a server issue. We were finally able to contact our service administrator and he gave my Office 365 account permissions to create gateways.
Best regards.
Hey @JAC65 ,
I think that this issue is related to the Windows Server and not to Power BI. This is common where only the System Administrator (Server Administrator) can make any changes on a server. You need to find that person to do the install. Then, in Power BI you see the gateway as being available to be used. But, as for the actual install, you need to have the administrator do it for you.
