Refresh history successful but not the report blank

Hi All,

I have a report deployed to the PBI Service and i have set up a datasource and added it to the gateway. I scheduled the refresh and the refresh is working fine. The issue is when I open the report from the workspace it is blank, i have to exit and open a new browser and navigate to the report again and click on refresh for the data to show, please advice.

  1. Does this happen every time?
  2. what browser?
  3. Have you tried a different browser?
  4. have you tried your browser in incognito mode?
  5. have you tried clearing your browser's cache?
  6. Do you have any ad blocking/tracking blocking extensions? If so which ones?

the issue you describe doesn't sound like a system wide issue - I've not seen other reports of that. So it may be your browser session, a plugin, etc.

There are other reports pointing to the same datasource and everything is same except for the data, not sure why it happens.

The only other thing I can think of that you control is are you using any third party visuals that could be causing this.

Barring that (which I think is an unlikely issue, but check anyway) you should open a support ticket then. Support | Microsoft Power BI

They will probably want to run a Fiddler dump of the data and analyze it.
