We are a healthcare company and need to begin providing reports to our clients. These are very basic CSV reports that can also provide visual charts via Power BI. For a trial run, we send out an email to our client that is Microsoft encrypted for compliance with all reports for multiple locations. The client gave feedback that they want individual reports and not one with all data as they have to separate each. They also requested no encryption which is not possible as this is healthcare information. Our vendor has these reports all exporting into one file for each ownership group. We put a query out to see if the report can be exported as individual reports for each location so my guess is a that a lot of manual work will need to be done to fix this. My guess is that there is a more efficient way of completing this process but I am not sure what that is.
We utilize 3 data sources that dump all the data into Data Factory and a vendor of our utilizes Power BI and an Azure App Service to provide downloadable CSVs, etc. What would you recommend in this situation? Do you believe a SFTP or MFT would be best? I would start to look at Power BI for options but I feel that would require expensive licenses for our clients to login and download their own reports. Data is not a strong skill of mine so I an open to any suggestions as I have very little experience with it.
