I have this problem when I try refresh on PBI web
The data come from SQL server and the last step is a group by.
Why is there a privacy error? The other reports, that use the same data set, work.

Hi. By default Power Bi Privacy Levels is set to Combine data according to your Privacy Level settings. Be sure that both of the sources that are merged have the same privacy level. You can use Organizational

When I use gateway I have this
I use two data sources in my report:
1- excel that is ok
2- sql server database
Both are the same privacy level (organizational)
The tables that are merged belong to the same sql server database so I don't know why it is a problem

Have you tried to re-merge your data sources?
Prerequisites:
A gateway installed on a local computer.
A Power BI Desktop file with queries that combine on-premises and cloud data sources.
On the Dataset settings page for the new dataset:
Make sure privacy levels for both cloud and on-premises data sources are set appropriately to ensure the joins are handled securely.
