Hi all,
I am having following problem.
I use Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) to store some data for my company. As per security standards this storage can be accessed from selected virtual networks and IP addresses only, and public IP of my office is whitelisted.
Now i created PBI dashboard from PBI desktop app that is consuming data from ADLS, I use storage key to authenticate. This works without a problem If I trigger refresh from desktop app.
Problem persist when semantic model is uploaded to PBI service. Then when i try to enter same account key, i get the message "Failed to update data source credentials: The credentials provided for the AzureDataLakeStorage source are invalid" presumably as my ADLS is not reachable by PBI service yet.
What would be the best way to solve this considering best security practices?

Hi @morz3d
You would need to install and configure a Power BI Gateway using VNET which would allow this to happen.
