Power BI Pro isn't available in your region

Hi,

I am from South Africa and I am trying to sign up for a Power BI Pro license but it says it's not available in my region. I don't see how this is possible when we even have an Azure data centre in Cape Town. I went to FAQ on Power BI and my country is listed on the support list so why am I getting this message. I tried to also purchase the subscription from Office365 "Purchase Services" menu but Power BI was not listed.

Hi,

Yes I was able to purchase the license through Microsoft 365 admin center under Billing > Purchase Services. Scroll down to "Other categories that might interest you" and click PowerBI then you will be presented with the license options.

I think it is the issue for power bi support https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/

but, first, be sure you don't use any VPN and your IP defines as SAR IP
