Power BI Premium Capacity Metrics - Help to understand Memory consumption

Hi,

I am trying to understand how memory consumptions work in the Power BI Premium Capacity Metrics.

In the screenshow below, I can see that my memory consumption in the last hour is abour 3.73 GB. But when I look at the sizie of my datasets, it's about ~600 MB. Can anyone help me understand what's causing the memory to be so high.

Thanks

Hi @Nishantjain ,

As we know that the data are Highly compressed in a dataset. When we precess some calculation for the data. The data will be uncompressed, So more memory consumptions will be needed.

Thanks Frank. Is there a way to find out the uncompressed size of the datasets? Without it, I am struggling to understand which datasets are consuming the most memory, in order to optimise them

Thanks

Nishant
