Power BI Dashboards and Paginated Reports embedded in Model Driven Apps are now not clickable

Hi There

All of the Power BI Dashboards and Paginated Reports that I have embedded in Model Driven Apps now appear read-only within those model-driven apps. The reports load but you cannot click on the filters or "run report" button.
Has Microsoft changed something over the past few days?
The error applies to all similar reports in multiple tenants.

The reports work fine when a user accesses them on the Power BI portal, but appear read-only when viewed through a model-driven app.

Thanks

Thanks to everyone that replied to my question. As you all know it was resolved a day later. Presume it was Microsoft that fixed the issue. Anyway, not sure which reply to mark as a solution so I'll just say thanks to all instead.

Hi, McGintyMcGoo

According to your description, when you are using Power BI, Power BI Dashboards and Paginated Reports embedded in Model Driven Apps are now not clickable. There has been some feedback on this issue in the Issue forums and we will continue to follow up on this. If you haven't resolved it by now, you can try using these methods to bypass the issue.

1.Rollback your browser to a version before Chromium version 120.

2.Use a browser that is not based on Chromium, such as Firefox.

This was also an issue for us, but started working yesterday. Is this working for you now? Curious what the issue was and if there was an actual fix put in place?

Yep. Just started to work again yesterday for us and didn't seem to need an update to Edge browser, so no idea how it was fixed.

This was from the PowerApps side that renders the PowerBI. I believe it had something to do with updating the stylesheet. The issue was only specifically when rendering from PowerApps, not from Power BI.

Back for me as well - thanks the update @HB45!

We are seeing the same thing in Edge and Chrome.

Some users report that Chrome works for them but it is the same for me.

Firefox seems ok.

Thanks. That makes sense.
It is a Chromium bug which is the engine inside Edge and Chrome. I don't think Firefox use Chromium.

Regarding some users will being able to use Chrome, I have some users like that too but I think it is because they have not updated to the latest version yet.

I am running into the same issue with our auto-authenticate Power Bi reports embedded within our Dynamics CRM environment. The reports load but no users can click on the report. Seems to be read-only but cannot even navigate to additional tabs within the reports, just stuck on the home page of the report. Not working in Chrome or Edge.

Looks like the same issue as me. It's like the window/frame that the report is embedded into is locked so you can't click on any of the report elements, filters, tabs etc.
I have tested a few solutions on different tenants and the common denominator is Microsoft Edge. Mine do work with Chrome, so that's a temp workaround for the moment.
Hopefully somebody cops this soon and supplies a fix.

I finally got feedback from the Microsoft team and they confirmed that it is an issue with Chromium. Its logged as a high-severity issue and is being worked on, no ETA on fix.

Thanks

Fingers crossed it is resolved very quickly.

After further testing, it seems to be a problem confined to Microsoft Edge. Model driven apps that have embedded Dashboards or Paginated reports still seem to work in Google Chrome, but not Edge.
