Oracle Connection showing disabled in Online Power Query

Hi Guys

I am working on creating a Oracle database connection in Power BI Service using TNS details in the format Hostname:Port/SID in Server Text Box

I am getting all the options as "None" for the connection and ConnectionName as disabled.

Can this be due to TNS Access issue?

Are we able to access the oracle database using Alternate username and password other than Windows credentials

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi. Oracle sources must use a Data Gateway in order to be configured correctly. The screenshot you are showing it is asking you to add the source for an specific gateway. You must install a gateway in a VM or somewhere to help with the data connection and future schedule refresh. Once you add the server, pick the gateway and set the credentials. Then you will be able to connect to the source.

I hope that helps,
