Hi,
The client im working with is going to move its data from Teradata to Google Big Query. They have a lot of Power BI reports with Teradata as the source. For reporting they have built lots of views in Teradata that are used in Power Bi. The expectation is that all the tables and views will be migrated to Google Big Query with the Server, DB , table and view names remaining the same as they were in Teradata.
I would like to know the steps for migration for the below scenario:
A workspace can have multiple datasets and Multiple reports built on each dataset.
Each dataset has a single source for e.g. Teradata db with multiple tables / views.
thanks.
Migrating from Teradata to Google BigQuery is not a power bi issue, but here I found some documentation that may be of some help to you:
You need to have a Google Cloud account with billing enabled before you start the migration.
Enable the BigQuery, BigQuery Data Transfer Service, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub APIs.
Create a service account with the necessary permissions.

After completing the migration, you will need to change the power bi report to point to the new data source in BigQuery.
