I have a report published on web and I want to monitor it using google analytics. It is not embeded on a website. Is it possible to do it? Is there a way to put a script on the report? I've tried to use a html visual, but it didn't work.
Solved! Go to Solution.
The easiest way is to set up an account with https://bitly.com/.
Then create a new link that will redirect to your report. Cool thing about this you also can customize the name of the new link. And there is an integrated dashboard that tracks the clicks.
Can you gave me an example of a third party service that I can you?
As I mentioned, I published it to the web and it is not embed anywhere.

Did you use "Publish to web" function to publish the report? If yes, the only way to monitor it is by the web traffic where you embed it. If you sharing using the link, you can also track the no of clicks of that link using a third party service.
