Incremental Refresh on Datamart

Hi everyone,

My Power BI Pro licence has recently been upgraded to Premium Per User and I wanted to test the Datamart features.

  1. Created the datamart: OK
  2. Connected to my SQL Server datasource: OK
  3. Imported one full table as a test: OK

However, when I try to implement Incremental Refresh, it stays on "Wrapping things up" for quite a long time and then throws the following error:

I have even recreated a Clustered Index on my datetime field in the table on which I wanted to implement Incremental Refresh and re-tested. Same error.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Kind regards,

Yogesh

Has this bug been fixed?  It seems like it works with smaller tables, but not on large tables where we really need it.  My 500K table seems fine, the 28MM row table just never finishes an incremental refresh.

Hi @v-yueyunzh-msft

Many thanks for your reply.

Hopefully a solution is found as early as the first quarter of 2023.

Have a great day & take care.

Kind regards,

Yogesh
