We have a schedule job, which usually runs in less than 5 minutes.
Today, it was stuck even after 4 hours.
I do not see any queries running on SQL Server with the Service account on our gateway.
Is there a way for me to kill this job and run again?
If, there is no way to kill the job, usullay how long it will take to get the schedule failed?

Hi @Anonymous,
If you do could not restart your gateway, I am afraid you could not kill the refresh job, or you could download your report from Power BI Service and republished it to the service.
Hope it could help you.

Hi @Anonymous,
The scheduled refresh in the Service side is a cloud Service, which we can't control it manually for now. If your datasource have configured a getwat, you could control the gateway. Therefore you could stop the refresh in many ways. I restart the On-premises Gateway to stop the refresh in my test of on-demand refresh. You can try it for the scheduled refresh.

@v-danhe-msft: Thank you for the reply.
This is helpful, when I am using my personal gateway :).
I have an enterprise gateway, for two reasons, I cannot restart the Gateway.
1. It is on the server, managed by admins and takes longer to get approvals and get hold of them.
2. We are using same gateway for our direct queries, and the reports are shared with more than 1000 users. So, they might see the errors in that few minutes, if anyone is accessing the reports at the same time when gateway is restarting. It's again a long route, to communite the outage and restart the gateway.
Thank you again!
