Hi,
I have a strange problem, I published report with one data source - Oracle database. I connected it to our Enterprise gateway.
Scheduled refresh went ok, but when I wanted Refresh by demand I've got an error that says "There is no available gateway", but the gateway is online, and what happened, that below gateway sources was not one Oracle database, but two of them, that are the same. All the buttons become disabled.
Maybe someone had the similar problem and how you deal with it? It's not the first time that this appears. I had it with SQL server.
Work around is to delete dataset ant publish once again, but it works just for the next on-demand refresh.
Ideas?
Same problem for me, oracle source is appearing twice and gateway cannot be established. Is it due to the lower-upper case issue?
It got solved really once I changed both of the oracle names to upper case, interesting..
Suddenly running into this too....is it a known issue?
I put a ticket in and this is what they said.
"
I understand you are having an issue with a data source that is showing twice in your gateway.
Based on your statement, you are seeing the same data source show up twice in the dataset settings as shown below.
If this issue is happening in a premium workspace, we are aware of it and have a workaround until issue is fixed.
To fix issue for now, please go ahead and change the data source to upper case when connecting in Power BI Desktop and upload the report to Power BI Service.
I will follow up shortly to discuss and troubleshoot. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you.'
Hello, Did you find a solution to this? I am having this issue.
I also have had this issue a number of times, any ideas how to resolve?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Please check if the credential used in service is the same as in Power BI Desktop. And Please update your gateway to the latest version. I can't reproduce your issue, if the issue is still existing, go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
If this post help, please consider accept it as the solution to help other member find it more quickly.
Best Regards,
Dedmon Dai
