Hi @sbm ,
Based on your description, please refer to this link.
It will only export the relevant underlying data to excel.
My test:

Or did you add any filters to this report?
If none of the above suggestions solve the problem, it may be caused by transient service mental disorder syndrome. It is difficult (if not impossible) to troubleshoot. I have tried my best to troubleshoot it. So I suggest you file a support ticket here.
Hope that's what you were looking for.

okay @v-yuaj-msft , I've already gone through all this information but thanks for sharing. I'll figure it out.
Hi @sbm ,
Have you selected the option "Allow users to export underlying data" as follows in Power BI Desktop?
Best Regards,
Yuna
Hi @v-yuaj-msft , yes, I already have enabled this option, so that end users can export both summarized and underlying data.
When I trying to export underlying data from a report based on a single table. It works fine but when I tried from the reports based on dim tables and facts table(Star Schema) with 1 to many relationships, it only exports the total values in an excel file. is there still anything, I'm missing in setups?
Thanks again,
Regards

Hi @sbm ,
Based on your description, can you give me more details?
1. Did it occur to any files?
2. Can you successfully export underlying data to excel using another account?
3. I assume you already had a look at the Power BI Tenant settings for Export Data and Export to Excel?
Also have a look at the limitations and considerations:
Export using Underlying data won't work if:
the version is older than 2016.
the tables in the model don't have a unique key.
an administrator or report designer has disabled this feature.
Hope that's what you were looking for.
Best Regards,
Yuna

Hi @v-yuaj-msft
Thank you for your response to this. Here is the detail below.
1. Did it occur to any files? - I tried it on two PBI report in service. I got the same issue that only able to export the total values not all the rows from underlying data. However, I am an admin to that workspace but not the Power BI Administrator. is this option disabled by default in the Power BI tenant setting and need to enable to use this feature?
2. Can you successfully export underlying data to excel using another account? - no
3. I assume you already had a look at the Power BI Tenant settings for Export Data and Export to Excel?. - I am not Power BI Administrator.
Also have a look at the limitations and considerations:
Export using Underlying data won't work if:
the version is older than 2016. not older than 2016
the tables in the model don't have a unique key. i- t has the unique key
an administrator or report designer has disabled this feature. - not sure
Thank you,
