Hi all,
A quick question regarding the pricing of embedding a report.
I have a report publiced to the service. I've made the report public and copied the iframe link to embed it on my website.
Everything works like a charm. My confusion stems from the Power BI Embedded licensing.
I have a Power BI Pro license on my account. Am I supposed to have the Power BI Embedded licensing as well?
Due to my investigation online, I've only managed to find info regarding non-public reports.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @CRN ,
According to the documentation, Microsoft Power BI Embedded allows application developers to embed stunning fully interactive reports and dashboards into their applications. So, if you want to embed content into a portal or website, you don't need to purchase an embedded license.
If you make your report public and embedded in a URL, be aware of these limitations:
If you want to keep the report secure, use the Embed or Embed in SharePoint Online options. Please refer to the following documentation for limitations:
Embed a report web part in SharePoint Online - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Publish to web from Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

HI team
I am facing different issue while creating embedd code
I import the data from "Power BI data sets" (Since i need the same data model)
I just completed the development part (like i created the sufficient reports) and loaded into the "Power BI service".
Now I am trying to embedd the the report to publish to web but i am unable to do it.
This is the page i am getting and while pressing on publish button, nothing is happening (the page is remaining same and not creating and URL)
I have pro licence as well
Can someone please help me on this?
Thanks
Rajesh G
Hi @Anonymous
If nothing is happening it might be a result of the settings made by the Power BI Administrator.
In the administration portal you'll find settings regarding publish to web.
I only managed to find a screenshot of an older version, but the settings are the same.
