Doubt about publishing power bi panel in share point

I have panels published on the power bi service with a PRO account.
Ales are automatically updated every 5 minutes with information coming from the database.

The doubt:
Is it possible to share the panel in Share Point with company users who do not have a power bi pro license?

I was told that it is possible to share the pbix file as a read and keep the automatic update without the user having a power bi license.

I am not familiar with this type of unlicensed sharing, so I turn to the community to clear up my doubts.

Hi @rodrigo09062015 ,

The rule is that for somebody to see another person's report they have to have a license.  Whether that is a license they buy on their domain or you buy on your domain and give them a login or if you share from your Premium licenses - it doesn't matter HOW they get the license as much THAT they have a license.

If you embed the report into SharePoint then the user has to have  permissions - they have to be able to get to your SharePoint and they have to have Power BI license.

If you share the pbix file then they would not necessarily need a license.  BUT, they will need access to the database to be able to refresh the file they will need to have access to the database as well.  Also, if you share the pbix file then you have absolutely no security over the file's contents.

Thanks.

Yours is the same conclusion I have.

They have a license that they share among their users, for security reasons and to make it easier to cut access if an employee leaves, I suggested purchasing individual licenses (Pro) for each person, since the number of employees is small.

Some "Genius" spoke of a solution that would be free via sharepoint and that would update automatically like in the power bi service.

I wanted to make sure this isn't possible, thanks.
