Display SharePoint pictures in PBI Report on PBI Service

Hello,

I'm contacting you with an issue which I'm facing since last week.

Up to this time I was able to display in PBI Report on PBI Service pictures coming from SharePoint directly.

Below is the error I get in Console.

The 'little trick' from Guy in a Cube does not work anymore.(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EowHdhy-Nio&ab_channel=GuyinaCube)

There is any way to overcome this ?

I can confirm that I have access to the SharePoint and when I open the picture in a new tab then the picture is shown.

Currently the new users are not able to see the pictures and the existing ones which did not cleared their browser cache are being able to see the pictures.

We are having a similar issue. This doesn't seem to be limited to PowerBI but any request from a different domain to retrieve a sharepoint-tenant hosted image. (We first noticed this when our PowerApp UI completely broke.)

On testing, this happens even when loading a simple HTML on the local environment, if the image sources are to a sharepoint.com site-- even with authenticated users, and sharepoint libraries allowing embeds. 

This started for us today or in the last couple of days.

Trying to pull any image results in a 401 Unauthorized.

Hi @IP 

From your error, it appears that you are unauthorised to view the pictures. Can you confirm if you can still see the pictures when you go to Sharepoint online?
