Hopefully the difference in displays is clear here.
One (correct) is from Desktop, and shows my line chart's points resting comfortably on their respective lines.
The other (from the same chart, once uploaded to app.powerbi.com) shows the points dropping back in the z-order behind those lines.
Is there anything I can do in Desktop to make my points on top of lines, z-order-wise?

I just face the same situation with you... Base on my research there is no proper option to set the order of marker . Maybe you can can increase the size of the marker or decrease the stroke width as workaround.
