DateTime changes to GMT when report published? *How to get last refreshed date?

I have a dataset that I created in PBI desktop which comes from an SPO list.

I added a custom column with LastRefreshDateTime = NOW()

When I view it in desktop it works fine of course, then I publish it.

Once it publishes to the service I get this:

Refreshed1.PNG

I tried changing the date time format in desktop and re-publishing but it does not seem to make any difference.

Refreshed2.PNG

Changed date format again:

Refreshed3.PNG

*Am I picking a bad date time format?

It is odd because in desktop it shows the filed thusly:

2/23/2018 8:16:47 AM

I don't really understand the disconnect.

How can I convert that to a timezone of my choosing?

Is there a better way to get the last refreshed date of the datasource in the SPO list query?

Thanks!

@OneWithQuestion In the service if you click on the "?" in the header you can select "About Power BI" this will show you in the pop up where your data is stored. I believe this will dictate the timezone for your calculation.

Thanks, I see that:

My report shows: 06:20:40 GMT -0600 (Central Standard Time)

My data set shows last refresh of:  ‎2‎/‎26‎/‎2018‎ ‎12‎:‎29‎:‎55‎ ‎AM

My data is stored in North Central US (Illinois)

I'll check out that link to the blog.
