Dashboard sourced from direct query breaks when shared outside my workspace

I am working with a customer as we implement a power BI Dashboard.

The data is sourced from Big Query.  It works fine when I publish it in my O365 environment. I reset the credential when published works fine.  I put it in another workspace works fine as well.

When my Customer publishes it to their My_Workspace it works fine, refreshes and everything. But as soon as they publish to a different Workspace based on a O365 group the data cannot be reached.  The credentials for access are re-entered. still no go.

Is there anything that could be blocking the request based on the group, the Workspace, or something O365 related?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Can you confirm their tenant can connect to your data source? Can you please share some detail operation steps about sharing?

The same steps are made into 2 workspaces. Publish from the desktop to the workspace. Go to the dataset and update the credentials. Both in the same O365 tenant. The one in the  my_workspace works the one in the group workspace does not connect to Big Query.

The only variance I can see is the workspace setup or group setup.

Their tenant is in Australia. But it is working in their tenant in the my_workspace so I know it can reach the source from there.

Is there anything in the workspace or group that could be blocking a big query call?

HI @Anonymous ,

Maybe you can open a support ticket to contact power bi support to trace your datasets to confirm which request has been blocked. (it is free for pro and above license)
