Hi everybody! Could you help me please! Visual not working after uploading to web. But works great on desktop
Solved! Go to Solution.
Use DAX Studio to examine the query produced by the visual. Maybe there are too many records processed on the service.
Hi, @Anonymous ;
1.What is your data source? A local gateway or a personal gateway?
2. If a gateway is involved check if the gateway is online.
3.Check the user and pw to the datsource associted to the reports.
4.Any RLS setting on published report? If this is a case, you need to assign roles to users.

Hi @v-yalanwu-msft,
hope you are doing well
1. local gateway
2. the gateway is online
3. I have access to all data sources. The user has no access to the data. Only access to view the report
4. no RLS settings.
Is the visual fed by your own data or someone else's dataset in a composite model?
@lbendlin It receives data from a project in Google Cloud Platforms. This is not the only visual element that uses the same data from the GSP, but the only problem with it. I havn't this problem when I open the report on app.powerbi.com. The problem is observed by other users when They try to open the report on app.powerbi.com.
Have you considered my suggestion to use DAX Studio?
@lbendlin I just don't know how to look at the query that generates the visual in DAX Studio
In Power BI Desktop click View...Performance Analyzer.
Navigate to the page containing your visual.
Click "Start recording". Click "Refresh visuals".
Expand your visual's section. Click "Copy Query".
Open DAX Studio via the "External Tools" link.
Paste the query, and analyze it.
Next step is to run the query in DAX Studio (make sure to clear the cache). Then examine the query plans. Look for excessive numbers of records.
Use DAX Studio to examine the query produced by the visual. Maybe there are too many records processed on the service.
