Hi everyone,
I have a couple of Databasis on AWS. Due to cost issues I have a script to automatically start the databases, update everything, and stop them afterwards. The timewindow is approx. 3 hours.
Within those 3 hours I want to schedule a refresh. However it is not working. There is a corrctly configures Gateway to AWS. If I manually start the database I can easily jump to the power bi Service and update the dataset manually without any issues.
BUT if I schedule a refresh to the time window where the Database comes online, it wont work. Every time I get an error message that the gateway or server did not respond?
Does anyone experience the same? How did you treat that issue?

Hi @raymond ,
Could it be that your self-start script execution time conflicts with the Power BI scheduled refresh time?
You need to perform plan refresh after the script is executed.

@v-lionel-msft thank you, beginner issue I guess. The problem has been the time differences.
