We are using the datasource 'Excel-folder' to add Excel files on a one-drive folder to the dataflow. We have added the one-drive folder as datasource in the gateway. Adding the first excel file in the dataflow works fine. Adding the second Excel file from the same gateway datasource give the error message: 'Invalid credentials'.
If I add all Excel files as seperate data connections in the gateway it works fine but this is not what we want. We have shared folder in the gateway with many excel files. We don't want to add a data connection in the gateway for every seperate Excel file.
This was working fine until a few weeks ago. Can you help me?

Microsoft logged a bug with number 317350811. Haven't seen the status of this issue. Workaround is creating separate data connections in the gateway for each Excel file
Hi, we are experiencing the same issue with Excel sources and Dataflows.
Only 1 query, it's ok... when we add the second query, we got the Invalid Credential Issue.
Our Excel source is on our internal Network (no sharepoint), so the Gateway is required.

I would like to upvote and downvote this at the same time. A truly miserable workaround ...
I just found another similar issue:
Folder permissions On-Premise gateway not working ... - Microsoft Power BI Community
Looks like my problem
We have a ticket open with them on a seemingly unrelated topic but now I start to think that this is in fact all part of the same issue because of the timing. Let's hope they can sort it out soon.
No it a network folder (e.g. \\biccfs\BusinessShare_Rapporten_Prod\....)
We have added the one-drive folder as datasource in the gateway
Is this an on-premise sharepoint? Normally you don't need a gateway for sharepoint online.
