Access button for user permission is missing in PowerBI portal

Hi Guys

Seems like the access button is gone from my workspace app. Any idea why?

Hi @Anonymous,

a few things to notice here because you're mentioning a "workspace app":

  • this Access button only exists in new workspaces
  • in "old" workspaces you can get to it via the ellipsis button and clicking on Edit workspace or View workspace, depending on your access rights

  • Because you mention "app", I'm inclined to also mention that if you access the content via the published App (via the yellow button in your screenprint), you don't have this access button, because the App is read-only.

Hi @Anonymous ,

 @nickyvv introduced in detail.

Power BI Service starts using the new look of workspace in April. You could reference the blog to learn more about it.
