For some reason when i publish a report on the dashboard, one of the values changes as soon as I refresh it. The following value should read about 17 (it's a pretty simple average calculation). It remains the correct value when i open the report on the desktop app.
However, when published, the value changes to the above. Is there a way to make sure this doesn't happen?
@mwhite
When you pin a visual to a dashboard from a report, it carries the filters applied to that visual at the time of pinning. Any subsequent changes on the filters in the report don't affect the pinned visual.
Ensure you set the required filters or clear all filters when you pin a visual.

There are no filters currently on the page, or on the visual, so i don't think this is the problem.
Are there any other solutions that you can think of?
HI @mwhite ,
have you tried to save the report under another name and upload it again? I guess you uplaod it to the Power BI Report Server or do you use the Power BI Service?
Best,
Kathrin

Hi, @mwhite
It’s my pleasure to answer for you.
Has the problem been solved? According to your description, the value on dashboard isn't correct, so when you open this report from the dashboard, are the values the same? Have you refreshed the data on the desktop? I need more information to help you.
Best Regards
Janey Guo
