Hello Gurus,
I am working on a Paginated report where I have created a expression column, I need to show grand total of this expression column. Highlighted in Yellow.
How to use following formula?
Expression Formula : =Sum(IIf( (A - Sum(B)) >Sum(C),
Sum(C)
, (A-Sum(B))
)
)
Hi Abhi,
Didnt get the solution. Do you want us to create Sum column with Wizard and then replace formula with our own?
I meant that you need to use report Items here. For example the textbox that has your Sum(Total_D) normally has a name assigned by default, so give them a suitable name and then use the value of the textbox in your expression which is accessed using eg ReportItems!TxtBoXname.value where TxtBoXName is the name of your Totals textbox.
Hello! This works best when totals are accessed from textbox values in totals row. So you may give names to Totals row textboxes which contain your totals as per requirement and then put final formula in the required textbox as
=Sum(IIf( (A - ReportItems!txtBtotal.value) >ReportItems!txtCtotal.value),
ReportItems!txtCtotal.value)
, (A-ReportItems!txtBtotal.value))
)
)
