Hello All
I'm trying to connect mongoDB to power BI cloud, I've found some solutions like
1. connect mongodb with powerBI desktop via OBCD, then publish to powerBI server.
2. using on premise gateway.
Both solution need my local pc intervention. So I need a work around how to connect MongoDB/MySql with powerBI server directly without local pc intervention.
Thanks a lot

No, you don't need to install the ODBC dirver on the same server as MySQL. Just install it on one of the servers on the network that can connect to the MySQL database. Then you setup the gateway - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/paginated-reports/paginated-reports-odbc-support
You will need to install the ODBC driver on one of the servers on the network and then use this ODBC driver in Power BI Desktop. After publishing, the report will continue to use the ODBC driver on the server so your PC is not going to be required.
See this on how to use MySQL as a data source - https://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/2615/creating-a-ssrs-report-using-a-mysql-data-source/
