Housekeeping Activities - cleanup

Hi,

We have Power BI report server. Is there a checklists/document on the housekeeping activities that should be performed regularly or to clean up the system on a regular basis e.g monitor the performance of the reports, number of reports executed in last 6 months, reports with errors, data source used?

you can build a simple monitoring report out of the log file you can find in the Report Server Database. Some times ago I wrote a blog post about this topic 🙂 (https://www.yodabi.com/monitoring-report-for-power-bi-report-server-admin-edition/). You can build additionally a page with the usage of reports, so you can see If reports are used or not.

Also you can check reglary the SQL Server and make Back Up's and Screenshots If needed.

Hi @KW19 ,

According to my understanding, it exists, use this function to view the housekeeping status of all the rooms of all types in a property. This screen can be printed to generate a Housekeeper worksheet and distribute to housekeeping staff. such as Blocked, Check In, Check Out, Stay Over, or Vacant.

And able to export the status in Excel/XML/Text format.
