Commenting reports in PowerBI Report Server

Hello, all!

In accordance with this article , user can have possibility to commenting reports in PowerBI Report Server.

In the article is mentioned, that this capadility depends on permissions the certain user has.

But I can't find either in Microsoft docs or Google, how I can set up this permissions and manage them?

Does anybody knows where and how I have to configure/manage this?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi @Anonymous,

It means grant permission on system level role and item level role. For details, see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/security/granting-permissions-on-a-native-mode-report-server

Hello, @v-qiuyu-msft!

Thanks for the reply. I certanly had a look on mentioned article, before I've raised the question.

Unfortunatelly, I have no found any mention of commenting capabilities in the description of system level and item level roles or tasks.

If it possible, could you please specify the place in the document, where relation between commenting capabilities and roles or tasks is explained?
