Hello,
I currently have a table derived from a dataset that has values for every day of the month. However, the business is only interested in the EOM values as shown:
- How can I set a slicer, for example, that only has the end-of-month dates available?
- Is there any way that this table will automatically update once the end of September is reached?
I already have a date table but not sure how to link it etc.
Thank you!

@Anonymous In your date table, create a column:
EOM = EOMONTH([Date],0)
@Greg_Deckler Thank you for your help.
I have added the EOM to the date column (which is linked to the dataset) but it seems it is adding up the total for the month rather than showing the value for the last date of the month (or latest as in September):
Below, both tables have been filtered by the slicer.
The second one is correct and the only difference is that the end-of-month dates have been filtered on the filter side panel which I would like to avoid as this would be too manual.
@Anonymous In your measure, just have it sum the rows where the date matches the EOM column. Like:
SUMX(FILTER('Table',[Date] = [EOM]),[Value])
@Anonymous In your date table, create a column:
EOM = EOMONTH([Date],0)
