Hi everyone,
I'm busy using PowerBI forums now.. but I'm not finding the right answer.
I'm having 2 Excel sheets, these are both output out of an software program. I'm rebuilding these Excel sheets in Query's, to use a live connection later.
The Excel sheets are both really different. One of the only things which is the same are the use of dates (long written).
How can I combine 2 Excel sheets to create 1 Query?
@Anonymous ,
Create 2 queries, and then either merge or append them. Let me refer you to this post, where I answered a close question.
If this solves your issues, please mark it as the solution, so that others can find it easily. Kudos are nice too.

Hi @Nathaniel_C
Thanks for you help!
It sadly doesn't work, but not for my Excel sheets.
I'm having the following issue;
Excel sheet 1 is having loads of amounts (20 to 30 rules) per weekly number.
Excel sheet 2 is only having 1 invoice amount per weekly number.
If I merge or append, there will be 20 to 30 times the same invoice amount on the weekly numbers which are connected to the invoice amount.
The total amount will then be 20 to 30 times higher than it should be.
Is it possible to share sample files
@Anonymous , @AnkitBI ,
I guess another question is why do you want just 1 query? If you create two create two queries, off of one desktop, when you hit refresh or refresh all, both queries will be update and brought in as separate tables. You can do this various ways, but you can be in Power BI, go to Get Data, build your query, upload it, look at it in Power BI. Then go back to Get Data and do it again on the next table. Then when you click on Refresh, both queries will be updated at the same time. So easy.
