Hi,
My situation as follows. I have a table in query editor with column headers as follows.
Spec1 Spec2 Spec3 default1 default2 default3....
By default the table was removed duplicated in columns Spec1 Spec2 Spec3 default1 default2 default3.... as a whole
That is all the mentioned colums are selected and right click --> remove duplicates.
But I need a slicer in my visualisation that to select one or multiple choices among spec1/2/3 to enable the removed duplicate query step including only them along with default columns.
For example if spec1 & spec3 are selected in slicer, i need that the remove duplicates are based on columns Spec1 Spec3 default1 default2 default3.... only.
This post is extension of the situation posted in merge query colums selection based on slicer selection.
Any small help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Tables are only updated at refresh time, so a slicer cannot have this affect.
But with that being said, you can use a slicer value to create a virtual table and use that for a measure.
Can you upload some sample data with your expected output?
