I am getting my data from SQL Server. Simple transformation of a column takes 5 minutes. Splitting of Columns , Changing data types, filtering takes 5 minutes each step. I need help on this.

Did you DQ mode? Try directly add your original SQL statement into the highlighted box when importing data from Sql, and check if the time reduces.
