i am trying to connect to SAP Success Factor via OData with standard web connector.
this connector allows the reading of 1000 records at a time, I found a recursive function in this blog that allows you to browse the other records as well. this function does what it promises.
I share the link to the post and the code used:
Origine = Json.Document(Web.Contents("https://myistance/odata/v2/PerPersonal?$format=json")),
Personalizzato1 = List.Generate(()=>Origine[d] , each Record.HasFields(_,"results")=true ,
each try Json.Document(Web.Contents(_[__next]))[d] otherwise [df=[__next="SSS"]]),
the problem is that when I publish in power bi service it tells me that there is a dynamic connection and therefore the report cannot be updated.
Is there another way to get all the records with the WEB connector without running into a dynamic connection? @BA_Pete @mahoneypat
@marcosimeone did you ever get this solved? I am having this exact same issue right now with refreshing this dynamic data source. Any tips and help would be appreciated.

Hi @marcosimeone ,
The Web.Contents used in the source of function needs the base url to stay the same and then any dynamic parts put into the options.
This blog post consolidates all relevant info about dynamic datasources, please kindly refer to:

Change your Web.Contents call to use a fixed base URL. Supply the filters via the Query parameter option. Do the same for the subsequent pagination, instead of using
Web.Contents(_[__next])
How would you create a fixed URL when it is grabbing the next API request from the row _next ? I see that is is causing my data source to be dyanmic as well and I am not sure how to adapt this one. Thank you.
