I am very exited to almost finish my power bi report.
Since 2020 our software producer calculates the value of a contract per year.
So i want to do a little bit of forecasting on our healthcare contracts.
I want to calculate the contractvalue per period(year=13 periods) against the payments per period(13 periods). (date table and contractvalue table)
The date table is not in any relationship. this because i dont know if this is necessary.
if it is feel free to make a relationship.
1. Before i can set the value of a contract per period. I want to know how many periods the contract is active.

2. Then i want to divide the count of periods that the contract is active with the total contract value of a year. to get the contact value per period.
3. Then i want the payment per period and contractvalue per period next to eachohter
Like this:
Period Payment Contractvalue
202001 50 100
4. The % of the divide (payments per period / contractvalue per period)
5. The difference of the payment and contractvalue per period.
6. The % of number 4 * the total contractvalue per year
7. The difference sum (number 5)per period to make the difference per year - the total contractvalue of a year
Result : then i will have a approximate value what we have to pay for the years per contract.
Most of the times this will be lower than the ContractValue per year.
I want to specify number 4 and 5 (periods) and number 6 and 7 (year) against the Dim tables to check where healtcare is not given.
Because if healthcare is not given according to our contract we want to know whats the reason.
