How do I create a column from the smallest member and repeat it in a column in PowerQuery that does not go out of direct query mode?

Create a calculated column with MIN. Although there is no Data view for DirectQuery table, you can see data when you put columns into a visual.
New Column = MIN('TableName'[ColumnName])

Since it is in Direct Query mode, creating a calculated column or measure to get the same result is a better choice. This will not go out of direct query mode.
Could you share some sample data and desired result so that we can help create an expression? Do you want to populate a new column with the smallest value in another column?
