Add new custom column starting from 1 for each new Pi

Hello I have 2 columns (PI and Sprint) and I need to add the 3rd column below but it doesn't work with "add column from example" and I can't find a way to do it with "Add custom column". Could you please give me a hand? The expected column should generate a new serie starting from 1 for each new Pi.

PiSprintExpectedColumn
011
022
033
044
151
162
173
184
195
2101
2112
2123

Thank you

DM

A good case for grouping then adding an index per group.

So Group By 'Pi' with All Rows as the aggregation (call it "all").

Then Add a custom column:

Table.AddColumn(#"Grouped Rows", "Custom", each Table.AddIndexColumn([all], "Count",1,1))

remove the Pi and 'all' columns and expand.

Let me know how you get on.
