Response 401: x-powerbi-error-info: GroupNotAccessible

Hi,

I have a premium workspace which I am a member in. However, when I tried testing API for Get Group , I'm not getting back any groups:

Later on if I tried accessing a group, I get the following error message:

"x-powerbi-error-info: GroupNotAccessible"

Which is what I expected, because Get Groups shows no groups I have access to.

Any help is appreciated!

I found out that my Power BI Pro licensed account is on the Gov Cloud, with address of "https://app.powerbigov.us/". I noticed that the Power BI REST API documentation only have "https://api.powerbi.com" prefix, which is for commercial users. Calling the "commercial version" of Power BI REST API returned nothing, because all my Power BI contents are on the Gov Cloud. I tried the Gov Cloud version of API by switching to: "https://api.powerbigov.us"  but it returns the following error:

HTTPError: 403 Client Error: Forbidden for url: https://api.powerbigov.us/v1.0/myorg/groups

Hi @haiyangl104

Do you find any solution?

I am also using Power BI Government version.  I am also getting "HTTPError: 403" Client Error: Forbidden for url: https://api.powerbigov.us/v1.0/myorg/groups

Please let me know if you have any updates.
