Looking for the best approach to share a video on the forum using the insert video option within the body of this messages

Hi @PBI-Curious,

Yes, the 'insert video' button is the general method to add the video to the thread contents. It can work with the most common video platform URLs. (e.g. Youtube)

For some specific sites with lots of elements or added some redirection/authorizations on the player iframe, you may need to check and find out the root link of the video file then you can put this link to insert.

BTW, you can also consider directing put the link here without any other operations if the editor can't recognize them.
