Hello,
I would like to connect Oracle SQL Developer (Db2) with Power BI. Could I ask someone how to do it step by step and what I need extactly to do it? Namely, I have several connections/servers in SQL Developer Oracle using db2. On top of that, I have also some reports with ready queries in SQL Developer based on these servers. I would like to constantly use these queries in Power BI based on connections/servers in SQL Developer. How can I do it?
HI @Mat_Mat,
I think it should be related to your database type and the data provider. You can at least you the data connector with your database type and the supported data providers to get data from power bi. (please confirm you have enabled these connections mode on your database side)

Xiaoxin Sheng
Are your connections TNS based, TNS-less, ODBC, or something else? Generally you need to create the same connection environment on your PC and on the gateway, and then be consistent in using it (down to the spelling - gateway connections are now case sensitive).
Hello,
My connections are only based on DB2. I am connected to DB2 using dedicated drivers (JARs). I know hostname, port and database. So that, I was thinking that it is enough to find some solution in order to connect with POWER BI based on IBM Db2 or Oracle database?
