Hello
In the visual above '% point gap' is based on a measure and 'NTU APP Target Gap' in based on data in a table. Is it possible to have two different slicers applied to the same visualisation - one to control '% point gap' and one for 'NTU APP Target Gap'?
Many thanks for any help

Hi @claret_mug
It's possible, you can try below methods:
1 ) I created two new tables "Compare Table 1", "Compare Table 2"
They have 1 field in each table and are simply a list of all Items for comparison.
I ensure there are no table joins to other tables.
2) I created four new measures
i) SelectedCompare1 = if(HASONEVALUE('Item Compare1'[Name]),ALLSELECTED('Item Compare1'[Name]),"")
This simply gets the value of slicer1 into measure
ii) SelectedCompare2 = if(HASONEVALUE('Item Compare2'[Name]),ALLSELECTED('Item Compare2'[Name]),"")
This simply gets the value of slicer2 into a measure
ii) CompareSalesItem = if(HASONEVALUE('Items'[Name]),ALLSELECTED('Items'[Name]),"")
This simply gets each row values Item Name into a measure
iv) CompareFlag = If(OR([SelectedCompare1]=[CompareSalesItem],[SelectedCompare2]=[CompareSalesItem]),"Yes","No")
This sets a flag as a measure for each row of the sales table as a Yes or No in the instance the Item equalled one of items in either of the two slicers.
3) The Line Chart
I drag the measuer CompareFlag into the Visual filters of the chart and set its filter value = Yes.
As these two items are those specified for compare the chart only shows the two items in the selected slicers.

@claret_mug - The short answer is yes, visuals will by default respond to all slicers on a page. If you want your measures to only respond to one measure versus another (which I think is what you want?), you will need to code that into the measures themselves using something like ALLEXCEPT perhaps. Not really enough to go on to be more specific.

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
@claret_mug , what kind of slicer and what should it control. If drag a column from table 1 it will filter table 1 and data joined to table1.
So if table 1 and table 2 are joined to common tables. then filter from those tables will not impact each other
