text in card

Is there any way to show text in a card? I only see the ability to count with text data

My data set uses UP or DOWN to show trends for YoY and Linked periods.

Another way is to create a table (in the Query Editor) with two columns, one with the variable data and one with the fixed text.

For example, I needed to display the last refresh date of a report, so I created this single-row table:

= #table(type table[Date Last Refreshed=datetime, FixedText=text], {{DateTime.LocalNow(), "Last Refresh:"}})

and then, in the report, I added a multi-row card with the two columns.

Another possibility is to use a measure in the table instead of the fixed text column, but I guess it's the same effort for the developer and for PBI to display...

Use a multi-row card. I use this to show text and control its formatting.

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

Measures can return text.

You could do something like:

MyTextMeasure =
IF(
    [YOY%] > 0
    ,"UP"
    ,"DOWN"
)

A feature I did not think was possible, this is something that will be so valuable to me!
