how to show grand total only without subtotal in matrix

hi, in a  row level hierarchy martrix, here is a situation that no need to display subtotal, if I turn off the subtotal, then the grandtotal is unable to show, how can I show grandtotal only without subtotal row?

Hi,

if you need something like this

You need, in Subtotals, to set ON per row level and deselect store key

Thanks. Yes, I tried it but I truned off the child level subtotal, then the row has no data but the row still there, how can I just remove the row of subtotal but remain the hierarchy and with stepped layout? Thank you.

So, if you want to maintain the stepped, the problem is only the color and the formatting?

@Anonymous , In Matrix you have Per Row level option in subtotal , you that you can disable subtotal for different level to have only grand total

Thanks. if I turn off the subtotal of child level, subtol has no value, but the row of subtotal is still there, I need to remove the row of subtotal, do you know how to fix it?

you have to deselect  Stepped layout

If you want to display multiple row fields (Continent & Region) but not their subtotals, you need to turn off the row subtotal for all fields except the top level row.
