grouping by charts of accounts

hi,

m trying to generate simple tables for balance sheet & profit+loss statements roughly as appended below:

more importantly, i wish to be able to retrieve/list/group the financial items according to categories (e.g. curent assets, current liabilities, revenue, expenses etc) which is based on a chart of accounts table as given in the pbix file (here).

actually, i'm looking a very simple solution that just allows us to list the items according to a selected level of the chart of account that allows us to show their sums / averages etc. it doesn't have to be in standard income statement (p+l) or balance sheet format(s). the most direct way may probably be 'grouping'/listing them according to the selected level of chart of account using the multirow card visual.

nonetheless, we'd b most grateful to see your creative solution.

and, yes all basic formulas are in there.
